Join us for kids classes, an exciting journey into the world of grappling sports for our older kiddos! Designed for kids ages 7-13, this class offers a range of benefits to help children develop physically, mentally, and socially.

Class Focus: Kids classes focus on ___________ The emphasis is on developing coordination, balance, agility, and basic self-defense skills in a safe and enjoyable environment.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up: Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up to prepare our young grapplers for the activities ahead.
  • Basic Techniques: Students will learn basic grappling techniques such as takedowns, pins, escapes, and control holds in a simplified and age-appropriate manner.
  • Drills and Games: Fun drills and games are incorporated to reinforce learning, improve motor skills, and promote teamwork.
  • Fitness and Flexibility: Physical fitness and flexibility exercises are integrated into the class to enhance overall athleticism.
  • Safety First: Our experienced instructors prioritize safety at all times, ensuring that students learn in a supportive and secure environment.

Who Can Join:
Our kid’s classes are open to kids aged 7-13 who are enthusiastic about learning grappling sports and having fun while making new friends in a structured class environment.

Class Structure:

  • Duration: Each class typically lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Frequency: Classes are five times a week Monday – Thursdays from 5:45-6:30PM and Fridays from 5:30-6:15PM – See our Full Schedule HERE
  • Class Size: To ensure individual attention, class sizes are kept small, allowing instructors to focus on each child’s progress.

 

Attire and Equipment: Students wear gi’s which can be purchased independently or through our gym. No shoes are needed as classes are conducted on padded mats, though sandals or slides are encouraged for easy on/off when moving to and from the training space. All necessary grappling equipment, such as mats and any props, will be provided.
