Training Our Front Line

Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) Class offers a dynamic training environment affiliated with Adopt A Cop BJJ where officers learn essential grappling techniques while improving fitness and mental focus. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, join us to refine your skills, build confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie of a supportive Jiu-Jitsu community and your fellow officers.

Participation: Adopt A Cop BJJ is a program intended to help support Sworn Uniformed Patrol Officers that interact daily with the public. They provide officers with a sponsorship to attend Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training at our affiliate gym until the rank of blue belt.  To Understand how sponsored membership and qualification works, see their Officer Application HERE

Class Focus: This specialized class focuses on teaching effective ground fighting techniques from the Gracie Combatives 2.0 curriculum, emphasizing leverage and technique over brute strength. Officers learn how to control opponents, execute submissions, and develop strategic thinking for self-defense and law enforcement scenarios. By learning effective techniques for controlling and subduing suspects, officers can better protect themselves and the community they serve.

What to Expect:

  • Expert Instruction: Receive instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques, including positions, transitions, submissions, and escapes tailored for law enforcement applications.
