Priscilla Rubio’s journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a testament to the transformative power of the sport. Introduced to Jiu-Jitsu in July 2022 through her children’s passion, Priscilla quickly discovered her own love for the art and the sense of safety and security it brought into her life.

While Priscilla may consider herself a Hobbyist, her impact on the Jiu-Jitsu community extends far beyond casual participation. Known as the “World’s Best Unofficial Sideline Coach,” she passionately cheers on her family during competitions, embodying unwavering support and encouragement.

Her favorite submission, the Ezequiel, and favorite technique, the reberimbolo, reflect her technical interest and dedication to refining her skills on the mats. In her free time, Priscilla enjoys vacationing with her family, tending to her garden, and engaging in CrossFit workouts to stay fit and active.

At the gym, Priscilla wears countless hats, from handling administrative tasks to rolling on the mats three times a day. She takes on the responsibility of leading kids’ classes and assisting in coaching other sessions, showcasing her versatility and commitment to the sport. There’s no task too big or small for Priscilla, as she embodies a true passion for Jiu-Jitsu and a dedication to fostering a supportive and thriving martial arts community.
